Welcome

This blog is primarily designed to record my time fly fishing for trout in the northeastern United States; however, I write and post about anything I encounter during my fishing expeditions.

Because I grew up in the Pocono Mountains, I consider northeast Pennsylvania streams like Bushkill Creek, Brodhead Creek, and Marshalls Creek my original home waters. My college years at Bucknell University, a liberal arts school in central Pennsylvania, opened my eyes to the beauty of Penns Creek, Spring Creek, and Fishing Creek - rivers I'd love to spend the rest of my life fishing. I now live in southeastern PA, where I fish the White Clay Creek, the Brandywine Creek/River, and Valley Creek. In the past year, I've fished Colorado's South Platte River, and Vermont's Lake Memphremagog watershed. I even caught my first international trout in Quebec. Check back often to see where I head next, what fish I catch there, and what beautiful fauna and flora I photograph.
